An episode of Fringe mentioned If You Meet the Buddha on the Road, Kill Him!. I read some Amazon reviews about it. It seems to be saying "don't let others teach you".

Ironically, I don't want the author Sheldon B. Kopp telling me that I shouldn't let others teach me. He can tell me that in his experience, he has found it useful for himself to use this strategy.
