Occasionally I get this feeling of.. not sure what to call it.. homesick? sentimental? It's a good feeling. I think. I can't quite put my finger on it.
Anyway, here are some situations, mental images, where the feeling comes up for me:
1. The image of a car in the country leaving home, at night, on a long journey.
2. Cars in the rear view mirror on the freeway at night, with their headlights reflected on the freeway surface.
3. Outside a high, flat, featureless wall of an arabian night's style building, at night with the moon shining, where the whole scene is clean and pristine, and nobody's around.
4. Being inside a car during a rainstorm.
I see a couple themes here: cars and night time.
